Upcoming 2018 Beginner Class! We will be hosting our Annual Spring Beginners Beekeeping class on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018. It will be held in the conference room of the Sever Library (207 W Chestnut St) in Kahoka, MO. The cost for the course is $50 for adults and $30 for students (with a valid student ID), and includes a course book, set of informational materials, and one year's memberships in our local club (NEMOBA) and the MO State Beekeepers Assoc. The class will begin at 8am, and tentatively go through 5pm, with a break for lunch. If you have any questions about the course, please call Randy Ewart at 573-248-5561 Our Purpose: Welcome to the homepage of the Northeast Missouri Beekeepers Association (NEMOBA)!
Our local association was organized in the spring of 2011, at the conclusion of our first annual Beginner's Beekeeping Class (held at Running Fox Elementary School south of Wayland, Missouri). Our purpose isto facilitate education and interest in honey bees and beekeeping; to encourage beginners to become successful beekeepers; and to provide a forum for sharing knowledge and experiences with fellow beekeepers of the local tri-state area of Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois.
Contact Info: You can email us with questions about our association, or beekeeping in general, at email@example.com. You may also contact Randy Ewart at firstname.lastname@example.org for further questions or information.
